Oasis - Senior Ministries

Who we are:

According to Merriam-Webster’s dictionary, an oasis is “something that provides refuge, relief, or pleasant contrast.” At Berkley, we understand that you have been on a long journey. You have spent countless hours loving, serving, and being involved in the lives of others. But after a while you have probably felt burnt out; so at the Senior Adult Ministry, we are developing ways to rejuvenate and refresh you back into God’s kingdom. Our goal is to create a group of Christ-like followers that will partner with other age groups in the church to create an inter-generational atmosphere that will learn from each other, teach each other, and nurture each other.

Still a working older adult? Not a problem! We would love to see you serve or participate at Senior Adult events!

We are still learning where God is leading us, but we are thrilled to offer this group. Come join us at 10 a.m. on the second Saturday of each month at the church for a get together, learning more about ourselves, and becoming a Christ follower. Topics/events will include: becoming fishers of men, understanding true discipleship, learning and teaching wisdom, care resources, potlucks and so much more! Come check it out!

Partnerships with other ministries:

The Senior Adult ministry strides to partner with other ministries at Berkley Hills church to create an intergenerational church. We’ll share stories, laughter and time together getting to know our brothers and sisters of all ages.
